CREATIVE LIFT MENTORSHIP

CD-level development that accelerates careers.
Retained mentorship for talent who want to think and create at a higher level.

Embedding the skills that turn creative potential into CD-level ability

The difference between a good creative team and a great one isn't ability alone. It's the senior perspective that shapes that talent.

But under high-stakes delivery pressure, development is often forced by the wayside. Creative growth stagnates, costing teams time, focus, and missed opportunities – as the gap between where skills are and where they need to be quietly widens.

Creative Lift bridges that seniority gap, focusing exclusively on developing the people behind the work. A retained mentorship designed to ignite potential, sharpen critical thinking, and instil practical, repeatable skills – accelerating the learning curve to turn creative promise into indispensable talent.

From reactive, uncertain creative decision-making >>>
to confident,
commercially sharp CD-level judgement.

Creative Lift is a retained mentorship programme focused on long-term creative capability, accelerating how individuals and teams think, develop and evaluate ideas.

For agencies, studios and creatives working in – or moving into – games who want to elevate the quality, clarity and effectiveness of their creative output. Built on a career of AAA campaign, trailer and pitch leadership.

HOW IT WORKS:

You’ll meet Frank fortnightly for structured mentorship sessions (60 mins for individuals, 90 mins for teams), tailored to your specific goals, creative challenges, or desired growth areas.

Sessions focus on real work, real decisions, and real creative growth – backed by 14 years of industry expertise and grounded in quantifiable, repeatable skills designed to build:

  • Stronger creative instincts and more confident decision-making

  • Sharper commercial thinking and audience understanding

  • The ability to evaluate, develop and present ideas at CD level.

Between sessions, you’ll have priority email access to Frank, giving you ongoing guidance and support as you apply learnings and navigate live creative decisions.

The aim isn’t just to support development within games marketing, but to help individuals and teams become stronger, more confident creatives – equipped with the skills needed to succeed in the creative industries long-term.

  • All engagements are NDA-protected and strictly confidential.

  • Minimum commitment: 3 months, to ensure meaningful impact and measurable progress over time.

  • Spaces are intentionally limited to maintain quality, consistency and availability for retained clients.

  • HOW DO WE JOIN CREATIVE LIFT?

Creative Lift is a strictly limited mentorship programme.

To apply, please book a Creative Lift Discovery Call, providing some details about you and/or your team on the Intake Form.

    WHO IS CREATIVE LIFT FOR?

    Creative Lift is designed for:

    • Games marketing creatives at any level*

    • Creative directors and marketing leads moving into games

    • Agencies building or strengthening games capability

    • Studios developing in-house creative teams.

It’s particularly valuable for people learning ‘on the slopes’ through live delivery pressure, and wanting to accelerate that learning curve.

    * For teams, it’s recommend that participants be at the same level of experience and/or seniority. Extended, 90-minute sessions for teams are facilitated to balance collective discussion with individual development – ensuring each participant levels up alongside the group as a whole.

    CONFIDENTIALITY & CONFLICTS

Frank works with multiple organisations across the games ecosystem and operates under strict professional confidentiality standards at all times.

All client materials and discussions are treated as strictly confidential.

NDAs can be signed prior to engagement, with additional confidentiality provisions accommodated for sensitive projects where needed.

    IS THIS CONSULTANCY OR MENTORSHIP?

Creative Lift is mentorship-led. The focus is on developing your thinking, judgement and capability – rather than Frank acting as an outsourced creative decision-maker or production consultant.

You’ll leave sessions with stronger creative tools, frameworks and understanding you can apply independently straight away, and throughout your career.

    WILL THERE BE HOMEWORK?

Yes, Frank can set homework where necessary to embed practical tools and skills between sessions. Any homework is designed to fit around full-time creative work.

Where suitable, Frank may also provide example briefs to work from, based on real-world scenarios (albeit redacted and altered to protect prior client confidentiality).

DO YOU REWRITE OR FIX CREATIVE WORK FOR US?

No. Creative Lift is designed to develop your ability to create and evaluate work, not directly replace you. However, sessions will include guided critique and practical improvement direction.

WHY IS THERE A MINIMUM COMMITMENT?

Creative capability develops through repetition, reflection and application over time. The 3-month minimum ensures:

    • Measurable development

    • Strong working context

    • Meaningful mentorship impact

If a 3-month commitment does not feel right, other Hit Point Services might be more suitable for your immediate needs.

WHAT IF WE NEED MORE SUPPORT BETWEEN SESSIONS?

If additional support is needed, we can increase session frequency (availability permitting), or supplement with other Hit Point Services where appropriate.

Creative Lift clients receive priority booking access for other services where availability allows

  • ENGAGEMENT TERMS: A 3-month minimum commitment is required to ensure measurable development and meaningful impact. Early termination does not waive the payment obligation for the committed 90-day window.

SESSION INTEGRITY: To maintain the rhythm of the mentorship, rescheduling of sessions requires 48 hours’ notice. Monthly retainer fees are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced. Individual session cancellations inside 48 hours are non-refundable.

COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS: Light-touch email support between sessions is encouraged for clarification on session topics. For deeper project reviews or new creative challenges, additional sessions or project-scopes can be established.
